D+R International Announces New Board of Directors

SILVER SPRING, Md., February 21, 2018 – D+R International, a leading provider of data and market analysis, announced today that it has reconstituted its board of directors. Along with D+R President and CEO David Steiner and Executive Vice President of Innovation Stephen Bickel, D+R has named three distinguished professionals as members, Dr. David Goldschlag, Joshua Izenberg and Tara Rethore.

“As D+R sharpens our mission to provide data intelligence solutions that drive results, we welcome these three esteemed members to our board,” said Steiner. “Their industry experience and expertise in strategic business management will strengthen D+R’s ability to have a greater impact on transforming markets in energy and other sectors.”

Dr. David Goldschlag

Dr. David Goldschlag is an experienced IT security executive, having led both large and small companies. He is currently co-founder and CEO of New Edge, a startup offering a zero-trust networking service. Previously, he was senior vice president of strategy and chief technology officer at Pulse Secure; Pulse had acquired MobileSpaces, which was Goldschlag’s previous startup. He was also vice president for mobile at McAfee, a leading IT security vendor; McAfee had acquired Trust Digital, where Goldschlag was president and chief technology officer. His distinguished career also includes serving as CTO at USinternetworking and, while working at the Naval Research Laboratory, he was a co-inventor of Onion Routing, which later became Tor. He holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.

Joshua Izenberg

Joshua Izenberg has 20 years of experience as a corporate, finance and transactional attorney, including seven years at Baker & McKenzie LLP, the world’s largest international law firm, and 10 years advising boards of directors and senior management as a senior in-house attorney at startup, mid-market and Fortune 500 companies. Currently, Izenberg runs his own legal practice providing outside general counsel and M&A services to government services and technology businesses. Previously, he was the general counsel of the aerospace and defense businesses of Alliant Techsystems, prior to its merger with Orbital Sciences Corporation. Izenberg has co-founded two successful technology companies, Modus Create, an HTML5 development shop based in Reston, Va., and Off-World, an autonomous robotics company based in Pasadena, Calif. In addition to serving on D+R’s board of directors, he is a member of the board of directors of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education. He holds an MBA from Georgetown University, a BL (JD equivalent) from the University of Toronto Law School and a BS in Computer Science from McGill University.

Tara Rethore

As CEO of M. Beacon Enterprises, Tara Rethore knows what it takes to make strategy real. She works with organizations and leaders to develop business strategies and to break them down into the key actions that will overcome common roadblocks to successful execution. Both as an executive and as a consultant, Rethore has built models for strategic implementation that apply across a variety of industries, globally and in both mission-driven and for-profit contexts. Prior to founding M. Beacon Enterprises, she held executive leadership roles at Lafarge and Arthur D. Little. In addition to serving on D+R’s board of directors, she serves on the board of the Stuart Educational Foundation and previously on a Fairfax County School Board Advisory Council. She earned a MBA from the University of Chicago and an AB cum laude from Mount Holyoke College.
