Course Description: Lighting systems perform an essential task in buildings and offer many opportunities for energy reduction via simple product/system upgrades. This course addresses essential lighting concepts, current technologies/products, lighting applications, opportunities for energy efficiency, essential maintenance practices, and types of lighting control. It explores real world applications, case studies, and potential energy/monetary savings.
