Noah Gabriel
Noah Gabriel is a Project Manager at New Buildings Institute working within the Building Innovation team. Noah manages multiple cutting-edge heat pump water (HPWH) pilots and leads the Advanced Water Heating Initiative's load shifting-focused working group. Noah also led the first-ever field study on 120V HPWH load shifting efficacy. Before joining NBI, Noah worked at Atlas Public Policy where he wrote about green building technology and helped grow the Buildings Hub platform. Noah double majored in Economics and History at Oberlin College.

Lester Terrance
Lester Terrance has been active in the HVAC industry for more than 20 years, including 12 years in the United State Air Force. Lester spent 7 years serving as HVAC Field Supervisor at the US Department of State. He is a licensed Master HVAC in the states of Maryland and Virginia, an EPA Certified Universal Technician, and an Authorized Overseas Certified Technician (Multistack). Lester is an HVAC Instructor and subject matter expert at D+R LEARN.
Lester Terrance
Lester Terrance has been active in the HVAC industry for more than 20 years, including 12 years in the United State Air Force. Lester spent 7 years serving as HVAC Field Supervisor at the US Department of State. He is a licensed Master HVAC in the states of Maryland and Virginia, an EPA Certified Universal Technician, and an Authorized Overseas Certified Technician (Multistack). Lester is an HVAC Instructor and subject matter expert at D+R LEARN.
Evan Green
Evan is a research engineer with Ecotope, Inc., where he investigates ways to best measure and optimize CHPWH systems and consults with manufacturers to effectively bring new CHPWH products to the market. He is also involved in working with governing bodies and laboratories to help inform codes and standards involving CHPWHs across the country. Prior to his work with Ecotope, Inc., Evan previously served as an Applications Engineer at Colmac WaterHeat, where he consulted with plumbing engineers on the best ways to implement HPWHs into their designs, in addition to performing equipment startups and evaluations of completed domestic hot water systems. Evan graduated from Eastern Washington University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Floyd Spencer is the owner of Spencer Consulting, LLC, with over 25 years of experience in training and consulting. He holds a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Human Resource Development, bringing a deep understanding of how people, processes, and technology connect in practice. Floyd specializes in helping professionals and homeowners address the practical challenges of adopting new technologies. He has designed and delivered over 100 courses globally, focusing on the integration of electrification and energy systems within the built environment. His approach emphasizes providing actionable insights and strategies to help engineers, architects, building managers, and homeowners navigate complex electrification projects.
